My friend and I recently spent the night at the Lynnhurst Hotel (her birthday gift to me). What a fantastic stay. The Lynnhurst Hotel has a lovely setting with beautiful gardens.

On arrival we were given complimentary vouchers to use for a swim and jacuzzi at a sister hotel before being shown to our beautiful room. At dinner time we had an excellent meal chosen from a very varied menu. We also had the pleasure of listening to a very talented local singer who was that evening’s entertainment. Breakfast was lovely – plenty of choices – and the staff throughout our stay made us feel that we were the most important people in the hotel.

We spent Saturday 4th July here, our daughter had bought us this as a gift for our 25th wedding anniversary, this is the hotel we had our wedding reception in back in 1990. We had a beautiful big deluxe bedroom in one of the older parts of the hotel, a massive room which had been decorated for us arriving with balloons and banners.

We had dinner and drinks in the lounge, the food was lovely as usual and the service was great. The breakfast in the morning was great, everything fresh and cooked perfectly.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s just perfect, a real jewel in Johnstone’s crown.
